100th -- Message On God's Protection

There are many people in this world who are believers in the Lord Jesus
Christ, and yet even though they have been saved and redeemed, they are
living a defeated life because they are not taking hold of all the
promises that God made in His covenant with us. The Lord laid this
message on my heart to share with you and hope you'll be encouraged in the
fact that God has big plans for each of us, but we must trust Him and
equip ourselves with His Word and know that we are more than conquerors
through Christ. (Romans 8:37)

We need to remember that we have great and mighty angels by our side at all
times as the Bible declares in Psalm 34:7 "The angel of the Lord encamps
all around those who fear Him, And delivers them.", but if we have a weak
prayer life and not equipped with the scriptures to fight off sickness,
poverty and depression then we have in essence tied the hands of Almighty
God in helping us, for the Bible declares "My people perish because of
their lack of knowledge". The Bible says that life and death is in the
power of the tongue, so if in troubling times we are not speaking words of
life and prosperity; we are not commissioning the great spiritual army that
we have at our disposal. (Hosea 4:6) (Proverbs 18:21)

God has promised that we already have the victory no matter what the
situation may be, but if we are living our life murmuring and complaining
instead of trusting God and proving His Word to be true then we should not
expect to be overcomers and victorious in life. God says in Malachi 3:10
"…Prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you
the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be
room enough to receive it." God wants us to prove Him true by us acting
out in faith, believing that He will do all that He has promised.

There is a great story about God's protection you can read in 2 Kings
chapter 6 where the King of Syria had his great army of men along with
their horses and chariots surround the city of Dothan where the prophet
Elisha was located along with his servant. The King demanded to know how
Elisha was able to know all that was taking place in the King's camp even
though they were hundreds of miles apart. Elisha had connections Upstairs
of course, but the King didn't know that. When Elisha's servant awoke
early in the morning and went outside, he saw a great army that surrounded
the city and in his fear, he ran and told Elisha of all he had seen. Elisha
answered his servant in 2 Kings 6:16-17 and said "…Do not fear, for those
who are with us are more than those who are with them." And Elisha prayed,
and said, "LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see." Then the LORD
opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was
full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha." Elisha knew he
already had the victory, but he also wanted his servant to see and know
that God was with them all along, even though it did not seem that way to
Elisha's servant.

I want you to be encouraged and know that you are not alone in your
struggle, but God is with you and has sent forth His angels to protect
you. Show yourself confident just as Elisha did and know that those that
be for you are more than those that be against you. (2 Kings 6:16)

Do not fear anything but let your confidence be in the Lord God Jehovah.
He promised He would fight our battles. He promised He would heal you and
deliver you and God set forth His Word before each of us that we might
believe and show our steadfast, unmoved and unchanged confidence in God
Almighty who is all powerful, all knowing and infinite from everlasting to
everlasting. Now let me ask you; what are you worried about?

God has already done the work for each of us and for us to receive, we need
to only ask and follow the guidelines that God has set before each of us. I
encourage you to exercise your faith and speak to your mountain to move; no
matter what it may be and by the authority of the great I AM; you will see
great things take place.

Don't think it foolish to talk to your body to be healed when you are sick
or not feeling well. Talk to your body and command it to come into line
with the Word of the living God. This is faith being built within your
spirit where your body will have to obey and come into line with God's
Word for the Bible declares in Isaiah 53:5 "He was wounded for our
transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our
peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed." God has promised
healing and prosperity, but we must claim it and renew our mind to receive
it in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

Read and meditate on these scriptures:

Matthew 16:19 Jesus says "And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of
heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and
whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."

Psalm 107:19-22 "Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, And He
saved them out of their distresses. He sent His word and healed them, And
delivered them from their destructions. Oh, that men would give thanks to
the LORD for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of
men! Let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, And declare His
works with rejoicing."

Psalm 34:6-9 "This poor man cried out, and the LORD heard him, And saved
him out of all his troubles. The angel of the LORD encamps all around
those who fear Him, And delivers them. Oh, taste and see that the LORD is
good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! Oh, fear the LORD, you His
saints! There is no want to those who fear Him."

All scriptures can be found in the New King James Version.
