163rd -- Variety Of Stories And Poems

I have been thinking about what message to send to you and felt the
Lord leading me to send a different kind of message today. There are
a few stories and poems the Lord has laid on my heart, so I will add
them to this message and hope you are blessed by each one of them.
To God belongs all the Glory for His continued leading with this Ministry.

THE WORLD MAP

A father wanted to read the paper, but was being bothered by his little
daughter, Vanessa. Finally, he tore a sheet out of his magazine, on which
was printed the map of the world. Tearing it into small pieces, he gave it
to Vanessa, and said, "Go into the other room and see if you can put this
together."

After a few minutes, Vanessa returned and handed him the map correctly
fitted together. The father was surprised and asked how she had finished so
quickly. "Oh," she said, "On the other side of the paper is a picture of
Jesus. When I got Jesus in His place, then the world came out all right."

MORE THAN ENOUGH

Have you ever thought about the extravagance of God.
More sky than man can see
More sea than he can sail
More sun than he can bear to watch
More stars than he can scale
More breath than he can breathe
More yield than he can sow
More grace than he can comprehend
More love than he can know

LAST MINUTE SALVATION

A minister waited in line to have his car filled with gas at a full service
station just before a long holiday weekend. The attendant worked quickly,
but there were many cars ahead of him in front of the service station.

Finally, the attendant motioned him toward a vacant pump. "Reverend,"
said the young man, "Sorry about the delay. It seems as if everyone waits
until the last minute to get ready for a long trip."

The minister chuckled, "I know what you mean. It's the same in my business."

GOING TO HEAVEN WITHOUT…

A man may go to heaven...
without health, without wealth;
without fame, without a great name;
without learning, without earnings;
without culture, without beauty;
without friends and without ten thousand other things...
But he can Never go to Heaven without Christ as Savior and Lord!

Read and meditate on these scriptures:

John 3:16-17 Jesus declares,
“For God so loved the world that He gave His
only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have
everlasting life. “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn
the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”

2 Corinthians 6:1-2 “We then, as workers together with Him also plead with
you not to receive the grace of God in vain. For He says: “In an acceptable
time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you.”
Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”

2 Peter 3:9-10 "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count
slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should
perish but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will
come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a
great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth
and the works that are in it will be burned up."

Revelation 21:2-5 “Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming
down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of
God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people.
God Himself will be with them and be their God. “And God will wipe away
every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor
crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed
away.” Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things
new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”

All scriptures can be found in the New King James Version.
