210th -- The World's Biggest Miracle

We are sometimes quick to forget how big and powerful God really is. We
come to God with our problems worried that He may not be able to solve
them. We must remind ourselves that everything that is named must bow at
the name of Jesus. There is nothing in this world that ever worries God.
He is omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent. He was, is and will always
be. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Never tell God how big
your problems are, but rather tell your problems how big your God is. I
encourage you to never allow anxiety and worry to enter your life. God
has enough wisdom and might to meet every need that you have, so you remind
yourself of God's strength the next time you are tempted to worry about
your problems. (Philippians 2:9-11) (Hebrews 13:8) (Isaiah 40:13-15)

This message is a good description of Moses' complete trust in the Lord
when he led the Children of Israel out of Egypt. I'm sure Moses had
plenty of opportunities to allow worry and fear to enter into his life and
sidetrack God's plans, but because of his complete trust in the Lord, God
was faithful to meet their every need. I hope this message encourages your
heart to also continually trust the Lord just as Moses did throughout his
lifetime. (Leviticus 8:4-5) (Exodus 15:22-26)

THE WORLD'S BIGGEST MIRACLE

Moses and the Children of Israel were in the desert, but what was he going
to do with them? They had to be fed, and feeding 2 to 3 million people
requires a lot of food. According to the Quartermaster General in the
Army, it is reported that Moses would have had to have 1500 tons of food
for each day.

Do you know that to bring that much food each day requires two freight
trains, each a mile long. They would have to have firewood to use in
cooking the food. This would take 4,000 tons of wood and more freight
trains, each a mile long, just for one day. And, just think about it, they
were forty years in transit, in a desert.

And oh yes! They would have to have water. If they only had enough to
drink and wash a few dishes, it would take 11 million gallons each day,
and a freight train with tank cars, 1800 miles long, just to bring water!

And then another thing! They had to cross the Red Sea at night. Now, if
they went through a narrow path, double file, the line would be 800 miles
long and would require 35 days and nights to get through. So, there had to
be space in the Red Sea, 3 miles wide so that they could walk 5,000
abreast to get over in one night.

But then, there is another problem. Each time they camped at the end of
each day, a camp ground two-thirds the size of Rhode Island was required,
or a total of 750 square miles long...come to think of it. This space is
just for nightly camping.

Do you think Moses figured all this out before he left Egypt? I think not!
You see, Moses believed in God and God took care of these things for him.

Now do you think God has any problem taking care of all your needs?

When we come to the Lord Jesus Christ and ask Him into our life to be our
Lord and Savior, we receive a covenant from God that says He will guide
us, protect us and deliver us from any situation. God takes up residence
in our body and it is no longer our job to worry about the problems of
life, but rather we are to give it over to the Lord and know that He is
wise enough to handle that situation. (Hebrews 10:16-24) (Galatians 2:20-21)

Be encouraged in the Lord today and remind yourself that God never worries
because He knows the final outcome will be Victory. If you have completely
surrendered your life to the Lord, you need to have that same assurance of
Victory. Never allow the enemy to bring thoughts of worry, anxiety or fear.
The devil knows that his time is short and he tries everything he knows to
make us want to forget God's promises and fall for his lies. Always
remember to keep God #1 in every area of your life and because you do, You
will always come forth Victorious. (Psalm 34:4-10) (Psalm 91:1-4)

Read and meditate on these scriptures:

Joshua 1:8-9 "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but
thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do
according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way
prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Have not I commanded
thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou
dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest."

Proverbs 3:5-8 "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto
thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall
direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart
from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones."

Psalm 23:1-4 "The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to
lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He
restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His
name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they
comfort me."

Isaiah 26:3-4 "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed
on Thee: because he trusteth in Thee. Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for
in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength."
