379th -- Think, Believe, Dream And Dare

With the many blessings that surround us, we should never have the attitude
that we can't do something with our lives. The Lord creates each person
for a special plan and purpose that is to be accomplished throughout their
life. We must remember that God equips us with the special gifts and
talents that are needed to accomplish that which we know in our hearts is
for us. The Bible declares in Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the thoughts that
I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to
give you an expected end." The Lord wishes for us to triumph and persevere,
but it is in our hands to believe God and reach for those goals and
aspirations that are ahead of us. (Mark 9:23) (Romans 3:3-4) (Jeremiah 33:2-3)

I hope you are encouraged by this simple message to believe in yourself and
know that with God by your side all things are possible.

THINK, BELIEVE, DREAM AND DARE

An eight-year-old boy approached an old man in front of a wishing well,
looked up into his eyes, and asked: "I understand you're a very wise man.
I'd like to know the secret of life."

The old man looked down at the youngster and replied: "I've thought a lot
in my lifetime, and the secret can be summed up in four words.

The first is think. Think about the values you wish to live your life by.

The second is believe. Believe in yourself based on the thinking you've
done about the values you're going to live your life by.

The third is dream. Dream about the things that can be, based on your
belief in yourself and the values you're going to live by.

The last is dare. Dare to make your dreams become reality, based on your
belief in yourself and your values."

And with that, Walter E. Disney said to the little boy, "Think, Believe,
Dream, and Dare."

I encourage you to never allow pessimistic comments to keep you from
reaching the goals that are in your heart. If you have a goal that has not
yet been reached, the most important thing that you can do is to keep your
distance from those who tell you that your goals are unattainable. Allowing
pessimism or pessimistic comments to enter into our hearts is a sure way of
giving up on what we otherwise had wished would come to pass. We must see
ourselves as God sees us and that is victorious in every way. We cannot
have a mind of defeat and a confession of victory. The Bible declares in
Amos 3:3 "Can two walk together, except they be agreed?" Let us agree with
God's Word and believe that we will reach every area of victory that He has
for us. (Habakkuk 2:2-3) (Ephesians 4:29-32) (Numbers 14:26-29)

Read and meditate on these scriptures:

Mark 11:23-24 Jesus declares
"For verily I say unto you, That whosoever
shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the
sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things
which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray,
believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them."

Deuteronomy 4:30-31 "When thou art in tribulation, and all these things
are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy
God, and shalt be obedient unto His voice; (For the LORD Thy God is a
merciful God;) He will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget
the covenant of thy fathers which He sware unto them."

Ephesians 4:29-32 "Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth,
but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace
unto the hearers. And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are
sealed unto the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and
anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all
malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one
another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you."

1 Peter 5:6-7 "Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God,
that He may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon Him; for He
careth for you."

All of these scriptures can be found in the King James Version Bible.
