706th -- Future Plans I Have For Travel

No matter what we may go through on this earth, we can rest assured that
this life is not the end of the story. While our physical being may
eventually perish, our eternal being has no ending. Once our life on Earth
is finished, our new eternal life will begin and the beauties that are
promised to come to those who have put their faith in Jesus Christ is both
unspeakable and unimaginable. We cannot visualize the beauty that awaits
us, but God through His word has promised that only love, peace, rest, joy
and happiness will abound in Heaven above. Rest easy and do not allow the
stresses of life to cause you to worry, fear or dread your coming days.
The Lord who created the heavens and the earth has everything under control
and commands that we trust in Him above all things. (2 Corinthians 4:14-18)

I hope you are encouraged by today's message to rest easy knowing that this
earth is not your home, but rather God has prepared a place for all who
have put their faith in the only Begotten Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ.

FUTURE PLANS I HAVE FOR TRAVEL

Nearing my 80th birthday, my future plans for travel are very extensive. I
plan to travel light. No baggage checking or “carry on” luggage. I
understand I shall be issued a suitable uniform when I arrive. (Rev. 3:5)

The heavenly travel bureau shall take care of all tickets and boarding
passes. I shall not need a credit card as I will be traveling on a free
pass courtesy of my wonderful benevolent Savior, Jesus Christ. (John 3:16)

I need not worry about motel reservations because I am going home. True, I
have never seen my heavenly mansion, but since it is custom made by the
great Creator I am sure I shall be delighted and completely content. (John 14:1-3)

I am not told of its beauty except the brochure states, “Eye has not seen,
nor ear heard, neither has entered into the heart of man what God has
prepared for those who love Him” (I Cor 2:9). On occasion I have had a
glimpse and experienced its beauty (I Cor. 2:10). God has revealed it to us
by His Spirit.

I wonder if it might not be like the Garden of Eden in days of old, and
perhaps the angelic choir that sang at the birth of Jesus shall be in
concert. (Luke 2:8-14)

I think of the exclusive neighborhood and the neighbors - a people chosen
by God the Landlord, and prepared for eternity by the Holy Spirit. (Eph. 1:4)

They shall be carefully screened for their righteousness and holiness
before being accepted. (II Cor. 5:10)

The binding lease is for eternity. (John 17:3)

I'll see you at the banquet! (Rev 19:9)

Read and meditate on these scriptures:

Psalm 16:8-11 “I have set the LORD always before me: because He is at my
right hand, I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory
rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope. For Thou wilt not leave my
soul in hell; neither wilt Thou suffer Thine Holy One to see corruption.
Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in Thy presence is fulness of joy; at
Thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.”

Psalm 103:1-5 “Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless
His holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits:
Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who
redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness
and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy
youth is renewed like the eagle's.”

Psalm 118:5-9 “I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me,
and set me in a large place. The LORD is on my side; I will not fear:
what can man do unto me? The LORD taketh my part with them that help me:
therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me. It is better to
trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in
the LORD than to put confidence in princes.”

2 Corinthians 4:17-18 “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment,
worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we
look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not
seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are
not seen are Eternal.”

All scriptures can be found in the King James Version.
